Sustainable vineyard management
When you speak about Aglianico, you can choose from three parts of Southern Italy. The Aglianico of Basilicata is the most distinctive of the three. Here the vines are planted on the side of a volcano. The soil is rich in mineral and gives the wine wonderful aromas of mineral, herb, and spice. This 100% Aglianico, aged in steel, is spicy, rich and ripe, with rich dark flavors and a hint of orange peel. This wine is fabulous with pizza, pasta and any foods off the grill. My experience allows me to say that you will not find a better value in Aglianico.
